The wordmark, the deck, the dashboard, the truck livery — same eye, same week. That's how a company ends up with a house style instead of a brand book.
Boring on purpose.
Postgres until you have a documented reason for something else. Helvetica until the brief earns a custom. The novelty is in what it says, not in what it's printed on.
The contract is a design artifact.
If a clause needs a lawyer to translate, it's a clause we haven't finished writing. We draft contracts the way we draft copy — out loud, until the cadence is right.
Hosting is a discipline, not a line item.
We hold the keys because somebody has to. The retainer pays for our time; the cloud pays for the cloud, in the founder's name, with itemized receipts.
Stewardship compounds.
The first year is the build. The second year is the relationship. By the fifth year, we know your business better than the consultant you'd otherwise have hired — and we've answered every 2 a.m. call along the way.
Quietness is a feature.
We don't post case studies until the founder asks us to. We don't put logos on our site without permission. The shop's reputation is built one referral at a time, and we intend to keep it that way.
